The cleanroom is located in the E-wing of Discovery Park Room E151-152, adjacent to the Center for Advanced Research and Technology (CART), UNT’s university-run facility and one of the most advanced of its kind in the nation for research involving materials synthesis and analysis, from atomic to macro scales. The co-location of the cleanroom to a newly modernized and consolidated CART will provide researchers with convenient access to a broad range of capabilities for materials synthesis, device fabrication, and analysis. 

The nanofabrication cleanroom and CART facilities are also adjacent to UNT’s technology incubator, thus providing easy access to these state-of-the-art facilities for start-up companies needing such capabilities.  Arrangements can also be made to accommodate the needs of users from outside the University.
